Grandma and Gramdpa January

I am trying this for Amber.  I am able to make my own post without signing in as her! Dad and I are planning a trip to the Wasatch Front this weekend for Hallie's Baptism.  We are super excited about this decision she has made.  In February we are headed down to Arizona for Jens's Baptism.  Once again we are super excited!.  Both of these trips should allow us to "touch a temple, not our own," and look at the sky in another area other than Vernal. Brielle texted me that she has braces, with red and pink elastics or whatever those things are they change every month.  Way to go Brielle!

Last weekend we got 2 points each for touching our temple.  Because we haven't had a very clear night lately we can't get points for a constellation.  I called and visited with Markell about the baptism and the cupcake cake so I guess I get 5 points for that.  I am super excited to see pictures from all of you.  Happy end of January!
total points so far=9

Robinson January

How far is heaven? I testify that in the holy temples it is not far at all-for it is in these sacred places that heaven and earth meet and our Heavenly Father gives His children His greatest blessings. As we touch the temple and love the temple, our lives will reflect our faith. As we go to the holy house, as we remember the covenants we make therein, we will be able to bear every trial and overcome each temptation. Thomas S. Monson:

Just a little quote to get you all going.  Our family is planning a camping trip to see all of the temples in Arizona.  so far there are only 5 but a new one is coming soon. let me know if anyone wants to come  I think I look at stars a little like Dad looks at birds.  They are all so beautiful and amazing.  Take time to check them out sometime.  There is a free app that will show you exactly where the constellations are at anytime of the day and year.  you can point your phone anywhere and it will show you what constellation is there.  My kids love it!  (Sky view free)
This month has been a good one for us so far.  We read the kids holes and let them see the movie.  Now we have a big hole in our back yard.  Jens keeps hoping he will find something hidden in our ground..  Adee got her ears pierced and we checked out the pet store. That was her "best date ever."  We really want a dog or two.  Nate started working out again.  He's going for the Rambo look this time.   I taught Derek and Lleyton to love tomatoes on their in and out burgers. Derek's adorable kindergarten teacher got married. I am secretly praying that she will still be teaching when Lleyton goes to kindergarten .  I get attached to teachers.  Adee is still plugging away at violin and Jens finally started piano again and NEVER wants to quit for his whole life.  And the weather is gorgeous!
